Vancouver

While showing the kids our photos from our trip to Vancouver, Mary proclaims "MOMMY...you are too much impressing me, this can't be real!"   It was beyond adorable ;)

John takes things literally...

While cleaning their playroom tonight the kids were talking about how to clean, where to put things, what to keep, etc. They were doing a great job and I was so proud to see them working so well together. Mary at one point looks at John and says "we should make this place clean as a whistle"...after a pause John looks up at Mary and very seriously asks, "so we can only leave a whistle on the floor?". It was so darn cute!!!

Engagement Anniversary

so Mary wanted to know why Chuck and I had an Anniversary today and in June, so I explained...she said "Oh, I get it!...Engaged is that time when you plan, and order the flowers, the cake, buy clothes and then think if this is really the boy you wanna marry cuz you don't wanna say no in front of all those people, you need thinking time, you have to be honest. I know I have lots of boys still to meet and I'm only in 1st grade"

How much longer?

Driving to a baseball game and Mary asks how long is it going to take to get there, Chuck tells her "a half hour", Mary replies "so 30 minutes and about 30 miles, thanks Dad"...she cracks me up lately, especially the way she says it!

Undies

Mary just informed Chuck while he was busy making lunches and the everyones breakfast:
"you know, your standing here in your undies"...he said they are boxers, she said "call them what you want, panties, underwear, bottoms, briefs, boxer shorts...they are undies!"

Breakfast in bed

WOW...woke up to the kids standing over our bed saying "we made you guys breakfast in bed all by ourselves, to say thank you for paying for us to go to a good school" all while holding our breakfast tray! Chuck & I were overwhelmed (held back our tears) and kinda scared to see the kitchen (they never poured drinks alone) but kitchen spotless! I have been blessed with with 2 best kids ever, Thank you God ♥

Guess kids are really excited for school...Kindergarten & 1st grade Mary and John are on their way ;~))

Mary...

Johnny said something funny in the car and Mary said, " Johnny is so funny I can't get past him"...LOL
